ABOUT US

Development and Education

Completely self-taught, she was inspired by the staunch resolve of her mother who would sew their family’s clothes to save money. Growing up in a developing nation without access to the finer things in life, Legair cultivated a determination that money couldn’t buy. She would use it to propel her toward success in the fashion industry years later. Her designs, which boast a mixture of Couture gowns, European styles and African textiles, were birthed out of her keen observations of the world around her.

Legair’s international background and knowledge of different styles have allowed her to run the gamut in fashion from formal, bridal, couture, ready to wear, prom to business attire for teens and adults. After less than a year of owning and operating The LeGair's House of Fashion Boutique in North Miami Beach, Florida, a dramatic life event relocated her and her children to Ohio. It was there that she received the impetus to further her education. She earned an Associate degree in Business Entrepreneurship at Columbus State College in September 2011 and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Management at The Columbia Southern University. Arthlene used the skills she learned there to build Legair Brand Fashion Legacy.
