Arthlene Legair Lawrence, is an award winning international celebrity fashion designer, winner of the 2022 Presidential lifetime achievement award for her volunteer work in the nonprofit sector, pitch winner at the women of wealth Hampton event, fashion stylist, Host of Real talk-Real Issues-Real Life TV talk show at Imagine Me TV, Sewing & fashion Instructor at Clayton State University, Certified life coach, business coach and public speaker. Proud mother of three, Grandma and dedicated wife to her husband DR. Hadley Lawrence ND. Her Legair Brand fashion has appeared on Bravo Television’s Married to Medicine, and other national television and in magazines. Her designs have graced the runways in Paris, England, Hollywood, New York, and other international markets.
She is the founder of The Imagine Me Vocational School & Founder/Director of Restore To Empower INC, 501(c)3, an NGO focusing on underprivileged/at-risk youth and abused women in the USA and Dominica. Restore to empower focal points are, empowering, training and developing skills in youth and abused women, give them the tool they need to live a fulfilling life. Lawrence started her organization in 2015 serving her local community and then branching out into the island of Dominica. Mrs Lawrence is dedicated to bringing change to the communities she serves and believes and lives by the Chinese proverb-“If you give a man a fish, he will be hungry tomorrow. If you teach a man to fish, he will be richer forever.”
Lawrence wears many hats in her creative endeavors. She is the host of, The Facts of Life Radio Show, 1120 AM 104.5. She also is a published author of four books, “Where My Hope Comes From: Prayers and Promises of Hope,” “Rising Through Life’s Struggles and Challenges.” “Journey to Wholeness and Purpose.” and her new book, “Quarantine with God.” A book she wrote after recovering from covid-19 and losing her dad all in the same week. Lawrence is active in public service and dedication to the welfare of abused young women. She is a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children, She has been a guest speaker at Agnes Scott College, The Still Standing Foundation which assists survivors of domestic violence, Ohio women’s retreat, Keynote speaker Caribbean heritage event at St Paul’s Episcopal Church Atlanta Ga and many more.
Lawrence is a wife and proud mother of three children. She’s originally from the Caribbean Island of Dominica but has called the U.S. home for more than 30 years. She enjoys traveling, writing, teaching, mentoring, shopping, styling other women and attending cultural events when she’s not in the design studio creating new collections.
Lawrence enjoys helping people and empowering them to reach their dreams. Her favorite item to shop for are elegant, fancy high heel shoes; and has over 100 pairs of shoes in her collection.
Having developed her sewing curriculum which she taught at Clayton State University and other private classes which yield successful entrepreneurs, she seeks now to take her school to the Caribbean islands, starting with her country of birth, Commonwealth of Dominica, where she will be opening the first creative arts community college for young persons to embrace skills of sewing and fashion designing, customer service-virtual assistance, culinary arts, becoming a makeup artist, image and Self-care, sports, agriculture, business start-up, and basic computer Skills. More courses will be added yearly as the school grows and the demand for other training increases.

Philanthropy/Humanitarian Work: President of (R2E) Restore to Empower Charity, a nonprofit organization that empowers youth to reach their full potential. The organization provides leadership training, mentoring and educational training programs through the arts for young adults, at-risk kids, and high school dropouts. Restore To Empower Organization has served or donated to communities in Europe, Caribbean Islands, Africa and several states in the USA.
The program will form partnerships with local school districts, churches, community leaders, businesses, parents, and the juvenile court system. R2E’s goal is to foster a commitment to young people that will promote friendships, strong interpersonal skills, and reassert a sense of hope in the future. Recently launched Imagine mixed pantry serving local families monthly. Her goal is to be able to serve these families weekly to meet the demand of the many other families that are reaching out for support.
